Topaz Saturday - Beach Breakfast and Worship Workshop

Wed blew up a huge football and played with it on the beach. We then played Amethyst at rounders. Suffice to say that we beat them! Spike got taken out by Aaron and a giant football!

Whilst we were in the Worship Workshop, the tent and village leaders had a really nice cream tea and as a result they could not finish their dinner back at camp!

Worship Workshop rocked. We made an awesome power point presentation and we helped with the worship too.

Today we had the finniest dinner ever, we managed to knock over 4 cups of water and laughed enough to last a whole day!

Topaz Friday - Canoeing on the Fowey

Gradually upping the sandwich munching abilities. Today I think we got through 50 plus but we did have Glenn (overall leader) with us!

My arms are mega tired and by bottom is a little numb!

Canoeing was immense. I got really wet to start with but then I swapped with Johnny - big mistake because I discovered he was really lazy and so I ended up doing all of the work!

We discovered the delights of Cheese and Chocolate spread sandwiches. It actually tastes better than it sounds!

Canoeing was great fun. We also had fun doing the clapping and 12345 song - it rocked everyone's socks!

Fowey was an awesome day. We went so far that we now have numb bottoms and aching biceps and shoulders! We really got our days worth of exercise and thoroughly deserved all the sandwiches!

Topaz Wednesday - Seminar and High Ropes

Today we did high ropes - it was awesome. We did a leap of faith - all the way and in many different ways - forwards, backwards, sideways - Headbutt, Superman, iMatrix (whatever any of those mean!)

Others were "dangled" for significant periods of time after the leap of faith - just for fun!

In the seminar we made a clock that actually ticks to show that God is with us all of the time. We also played a game of human Jenga!

Topaz Tuesday - Mountain Biking and Climbing

Today we: Rescued a bench, stacked on cycling, attempted no footed climbing - ouch - but fun, completed no footed climbing.

Also, Angus cycled through a ditch full of water only to end up doing a superman headlong dive into the unexpectant Kim who was taken down into the mud as a result!

News Flash.... Spike put himself in mortal peril to save a young girl's life when he slammed on his brakes after seeing the girl fall over in front of him. He catapulted over the handle bars, completed a full 180 flip landing on his head, hands and left elbow. Both escaped relatively unharmed as for the bikes...!

Later on in the day, Kim and Sarah got attacked by auto harnesses as they were pulled up and did a spider man like jump!

One piece of advice: do not wear a white tee shirt whilst mountain biking!
